Introducing Nom de Guerre—with Halcyon as our true identity, Nom de Guerre (literal translation = war name) is our pseudonym we’ll use to make everything else. After working with Vermentino at Tablas Creek, Tyler always wanted to make a southern Italian white wine. The south of Italy is hot, but the wines retain their acidity. So, why then couldn't we do that here?

The wine had a few hours of skin contact cold soak and was barrel fermented in neutral oak. Aged sur lie for 18 months with a touch of natural ML fermentation.
